We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Practice Nurse tojoin our amazing team at our surgeries in Derby.
You will have theopportunity to work within a supportive, dynamic and multi-skilled nursing team, while led and supported by three experienced and supportive nursing managers.
We are looking forpassionate, patient-centered individuals, that have a demonstrable career ingeneral nursing, with practice nursing experience being preferable although notessential. A background in chronic disease management including asthma anddiabetes is essential for this role, as is the ability to work well both withina team and as an individual, to best serve our large and diverse patientpopulation across our five Derby sites.
You will be expected toperform general practice nursing duties such as, but not limited to, wound caremanagement, health and lifestyle reviews, and vaccinations as part of yourrole. You will also have the chance to supervise and mentor HealthcareAssistants as part of their professional development, and to take part inshaping the nursing service to address new challenges.
