Seeking a Dedicated Practice Nurse

We are looking for a skilled Practice Nurse to join our team for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for a longer-term contract. As a Practice Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care, including wound management, immunisations, chronic disease management, and health screenings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, including wound management and health screenings
  • Support GP-led clinics, including management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma, and hypertension
  • Administer vaccinations and injections, and deliver health promotion and education to patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential)
  • Prior experience working as a Practice Nurse in a primary care or GP setting
  • Diploma in diabetes
  • Skills in chronic disease management, immunisations, and wound care
  • Cervical cytology and vaccination certification
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
