Early Careers & Apprenticeships Specialist

Location: Hybrid role- with UK travel required

Hours: Full time Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Salary: Up to £38,000 depending on experience

Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company car or car allowance, life assurance and pension scheme

The role

As part of the wider Learning and Development Team, the Early Careers and Apprenticeship Specialist will provide end to end support for all apprentice technicians across Marshall Motor Group including induction, wellbeing, pastoral care and academic, ensuring their success and providing a great experience. This role will ensure that technicians are upskilled, meeting their CPD standards, providing additional support where needed. They will be responsible for supporting current colleagues wanting to complete professional development in both a technical and non-technical capacity.

Who you are

You will have expert knowledge of the government funded levy, apprenticeship programmes and standards and be able to articulate them to stakeholders Confident managing external stakeholders as you will be the point of contact for external providers, OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers) and a key liaison with the recruitment team as well as apprentices themselves Experienced organising learning events, virtually or physically for assessment and development including creating content You are a problem solver who thinks creatively with a solution focused mindset

What you’ll do

Maximise the apprentice levy and manage government funded schemes for our apprentices including being an advocate for development opportunities Develop a suite of apprenticeship programmes across the business, working closely with divisions and providers Support with annual Assessment Centres, deliver inductions for all new apprentices as well as training workshops as required Conduct regular reviews with apprentices, deliver engagement sessions including awards ceremonies and National Apprenticeship week awards Manage the administration of the apprenticeship levy including monthly MI Build a pipeline of new apprentices by visiting local schools, colleges, and engagement events
