Early Years Assessment Trainee

Key Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must possess a Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years.
For those without a qualification, a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nursery Manager is required.
Role Purpose:
As an Early Years Assessor, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners (up to Level 5), including Functional Skills. Your work will involve both remote communication (via telephone, video, email) and in-person visits to learners at their workplaces.
Your role will include coaching and mentoring learners to successfully complete their Early Years apprenticeship qualifications.
All necessary training and qualifications will be fully funded and provided by the employer.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nursery Manager
- A Level 5 (or equivalent) qualification in Early Years
- A valid UK driving license and access to personal transport
Work Environment:
You will work from home, covering a designated area.
This position offers a blend of remote work and visits to learners in their workplaces.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Full-time, permanent position
- 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with no unsociable hours or weekends
- Flexible working arrangements, allowing you to manage your own schedule
- Annual salary ranging from £29k to £34k, with higher pay for qualified assessors
- Full reimbursement for travel expenses (calculated from your home)
- 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays
