What you can expect from us
You’ll join our dynamic procurement function, taking the lead on sourcing and contract management for suppliers that provide services on and within our growing network. You’ll drive forward sourcing strategies, lead effective in-life contract management, and establish and implement key category strategies alongside your team of Procurement Specialists. Day to day, this is some of what you can expect to be doing:
Day to day category management with a particular emphasis on ensuring our contracts are delivering Line managing a team of procurement specialists Delivering effective sign on/sign off procurement packs and business cases for the projects or areas you are owning Delivering compelling category strategy reviews to the Head of Procurement and other senior stakeholders Working with finance leads to produce budgets, review performance, and agree savings targets Negotiating clear, robust, and favourable terms in contractual and commercial frameworks – Driving change where neededWhat you’ll bring to the role
You’ll already have some strong experience in a procurement, commercial or contract management role, with particular experience managing or procuring service-based contracts and leading strong-performing teams. You’ll also bring the following:
Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills End-to-end experience in contract management and sourcing processes Experience in supplier selection, auditing, and supplier assessments Strong leader ship capabilities within a team environment and through management of category management MCIPS or equivalentWe’re looking for people who don’t settle for ‘good enough’ and push things forward.
