As part of the Marketing Group, the Marketing Communications Lead is responsible for cultivating and expanding awareness of the Moffatt & Nichol brand, products, and services across Europe. Manages the development and implementation of marketing communications strategies, including conference participation, advertising initiatives, product and professional services promotion, as well as online and print marketing tailored specifically for the European market.

Duties and responsibilities:

Builds cross-functional relationships with company stakeholders to understand our professional services and software solutions, clients, and industry to develop a focused communication programme, tailored for European market. Leads the development and strategy for Europe-specific social media content, ensuring consistency with overall communication goals and brand identity. Conducts market research to identify trends, opportunities, and preferences within European market, informing communication strategies and messaging. Organises public relations initiatives. Designs, develops, and distributes consistent themes, messaging, and branding elements throughout all communications to align with company brand identity and messaging guidelines. Leads planning and execution of the company’s participation in conferences, ensuring effective showcasing of products/services and alignment with communication goals. Attends conferences, as needed Continuously evaluates emerging channels, methods, and platforms to enhance the effectiveness of marketing communications. Functions as writer and/or editor for formal business communications. Develops metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of messaging platforms and quantify their impact on revenue generation in the European market. Provides strategic guidance on identifying and partnering with relevant industry organisations or associations to strengthen the company’s presence and influence in the European market. Represents the company as a brand ambassador in all communications, ensuring consistency in messaging and adherence to brand values across Europe.

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field 10+ years’ marketing communications experience 5+ years’ experience in engineering field 5+ years’ experience software/technology product marketing Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate effectively and adapt messaging strategies for diverse audiences within the European market, considering cultural nuances and preferences Ability to multitask and manage concurrent marketing campaigns and events  Creative thinker who uses creativity to explore innovative ways to market the company Strong collaborator who elicits superior outcomes from working partnerships with technical staff, designers, and other marketers Familiarity with CRM systems to manage client data, track interactions, and support targeted communication efforts All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
