We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to join our team and help us amplify our message.


As the Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that align with our global business objectives, working in partnership with a network of international colleagues. You will manage our internal communications and our external digital platforms, ensuring consistency and clarity in all messaging. This role requires a strategic thinker that can understand the needs and wants of multiple audience stakeholders, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a creative mindset, a passion for storytelling, and an ability to take complex information and transform this into simple, engaging messages.

Key responsibilities as a Communications Manager will be to:
1. Communications Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication plan aligned with the company's goals, strategic priorities and culture.
- Conduct regular assessments of internal communication needs and adjust strategic plan accordingly.
- Support the IR and Comms Director with external communications as required.
2. Content Creation:
- Create, edit, and distribute internal communication materials such as newsletters, emails, intranet content, presentations, and video messages.
- Ensure all communications are clear, consistent, and effectively convey key messages.
- Create and edit the corporate website content
3. Employee Engagement:
- Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee engagement, promote a positive workplace culture in line with our values and principles, and the employee value proposition.
- Organise and manage internal events, such as town hall meetings, communication best practice framework and templates, and other corporate events.
4. Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership to develop messaging for company announcements, policy changes, project communication, employee value proposition and other significant updates.
- Partner with People and Culture, Marketing, and site leads other departments to ensure cohesive communication strategies and initiatives.
- Support development and training for local managers to increase the capability in effective communication practices.
5. Website, Intranet, Social and Digital Platforms:
- Oversee the development, management and support the content of the regional company intranets and MyHUB, ensuring it serves as a central hub for internal communication.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to improve communication efficiency and reach.
6. Feedback and Improvement:
- Establish mechanisms for measuring the success of communication effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Analyse feedback and metrics to continuously refine communication practices.
7. Crisis Communication:
- Support the development of and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and communicate during organisational, media and product crises or emergencies.

To succeed as a Communications Manager we ask that you:
- Have demonstrable experience in a previous comms manager based role or role with significant transferable skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong media relations and networking abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- A good knowledge of the industry and market trends.
- A proactive and creative attitude, with the ability to identify and evaluate new investment opportunities with understanding of budget.
