As the Corporate Communications Lead at Anglian Water, your role will require a broad understanding of the business and sector in which we operate. Through compelling, high-quality communications you will give meaning to our purpose, translate our business strategy and contextualise our performance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing, coordinating and producing our corporate communications, primarily the growing array of corporate statutory and regulatory reports, speeches and presentations for C-suite, plus online and social content.

**What you’ll be doing**:
- Alongside the Head of Corporate Reporting, play a key role in delivering the corporate communications strategy
- Lead on the creation and delivery of key corporate reports, managing senior stakeholders accordingly
- Create content for multiple formats including strategic corporate reports, speeches, presentations, press releases, case studies and articles.
- Support the consistent delivery of corporate messages by board members, including the CEO, CFO, Chairman and senior colleagues, across different comms platforms.
- Support our Investor Relations activity - producing presentations, events, market stalls, speaker notes, and associated financial reporting as required
- Deliver compelling award entries to achieve lateral endorsement
- Stay abreast of key political and regulatory developments to help inform and develop communications strategies.
- Evaluate the reach and effectiveness of Anglian Water’s corporate communications and recommend changes to make continuous improvements.
- Create briefs for communications campaigns and working with partners, agencies and freelancers to fulfil and deliver these. Often involves project management of the delivery of wide-ranging corporate communications tools and campaigns.
- Edit and advise other authors across the business on the appropriate use of style, tone, brand and key corporate messages in the delivery of their materials.
- Maintain a fast-paced production schedule to meet immovable deadlines, including ongoing and detailed liaison with senior stakeholders across the business.
- Manage substantiations from Auditors. Gather, collate and respond to feedback from across the business, making sense of unstructured or vague comments from SMEs to positive effect.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in corporate reporting, sustainability reporting/ESG, and appropriately reflecting these in our outputs.
- Maintain an awareness of appropriate legislative or regulatory requirements in corporate reporting, in particular in relation to environmental, social and governance issues.

- Knowledge of corporate reporting requirements, in particular those relating to ESG matters.
- Experience of seeking out relevant stories from within a complex business and helping to translate these into engaging communications for stakeholders and customers.
- Strong project management skills, able to deliver high-profile projects on brief and on time.
