Venator is recruiting for a Communications Manager to join the Communications Team at Wynyard.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the communications team in developing and executing a comprehensive communications strategy. This role involves managing a variety of internal and external communications projects to enhance the company’s brand, engage stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Job responsibilities include:

Developing, executing, and evaluating internal communications plans and projects to ensure Venator associates are informed and engaged.

Developing, executing, and evaluating external communications plans and projects to protect and enhance Venator’s reputation.

Overseeing and managing Venator’s various communication channels, owning and curating content that is consistent with Venator’s tone of voice, messaging, and branding.

Coordinating and overseeing the production of communication materials, including annual reports, presentations, and marketing collateral.

Planning and executing internal and external events including trade exhibitions and conferences.

Assisting in managing communications during crisis situations to protect Venator’s reputation.

Being a Venator brand guardian and advising others on how to adhere to the Venator brand guidelines

Managing the communications team supplier and agency partnerships, setting clear objectives and KPIs, as per Venator processes.

Living and demonstrating behaviours that drive a positive values-based culture.

Candidate requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or a similar role

Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.

Proficiency in using communications tools and platforms such as content management systems, graphic design platforms (preferably Canva) and social media and scheduling systems.
