**Responsibilities**:
Stockton Recovery Service is committed to working with adults and young people who access our service in a way that best suits their needs and that of the wider family and community.

Our experienced team offer a wide range of interventions for people who use substances, including harm minimisation, brief interventions, psychosocial interventions, family programmes, risk management and coordination of clinical treatment that meets the individual’s needs.

This exciting new role, will help transform how we engage with people accessing our service, partner agencies and local communities, through the development and implementation of a communications strategy, that uses a wide range of mediums to ensure key messages reach the target audience.

The substance use sector has seen significant investment and innovation over the past few years, which presents a unique opportunity for someone with the right skills to create content and engage audiences in new ways, challenging stigma and showcasing what recovery is really all about, whilst understanding local needs and reaching those who may need support.
