A collective energy and ambition. A place where you can make a real difference.

We’re a company that genuinely cares about our people, our products, our consumers and the environment.

United by the belief that when we strive for growth, anything is possible. While we might not be the largest company in our industry, we believe we can have the biggest impact because: Together We Have the Power to Win.

Are you an experienced toxicologist looking for an exciting opportunity to lead the way in human safety and toxicology? Are you ready to make a global impact and ensure that products are safe and comply with regulations? If so, we have the perfect role for you

We are seeking an International Head of Toxicology & Product Safety (Associate Director) to join our R&D team at Church & Dwight. In this role, you will be responsible for leading human safety and toxicology for all our product categories across international organizations. From fabric care to oral care, medical devices to skincare, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our diverse product portfolio.

But it doesn't stop there. As our International Head of Toxicology & Product Safety, you will partner with Product Development, Regulatory, Product Safety and Clinical Affairs teams to provide strategic advice and guidance throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will lead new toxicology and product safety requirements, develop safety claim strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and drive innovation in human and environmental safety.

This role is not just about expertise; it's about influence and leadership. You will represent our company at key trade associations, scientific task forces, and advisory councils to promote our position and effect positive changes in the industry. Your strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and ability to build relationships across disciplines will be crucial in driving our business goals forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead human safety and risk assessments for Church & Dwight product categories internationally. Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards for designated regions. Provide strategic advice throughout the product lifecycle. Lead toxicology requirements, safety claims strategy, and compliance efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the company externally. Manage critical issues, author safety assessments, and drive innovation in safety.

Requirements:

European Registered toxicologist certification. Strong influencing and strategic thinking skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Results-oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects. Minimum 10 years of toxicology and product safety experience. PhD in toxicology, pharmacology, pharmacy, or related fields. Record of strategic planning and collaboration with cross-functional partners. Knowledge of human and environmental safety regulations. Experience with external engagement in trade associations and committees.

At Church & Dwight, we prioritize safety and continuous improvement. You will join a team that values your contributions and provides opportunities for mentorship, coaching, and professional development. With international travel and a minimum 4 days per month presence at our R&D site in Folkestone, you will have the chance to make a global impact while collaborating with talented individuals from around the world.

If you are ready to take on this exciting challenge and lead the way in human safety and toxicology, we invite you to apply.
