Are you an experienced procurement professional with a knack for negotiation and a passion for advancing your career in procurement?

Church & Dwight is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a key player in our European Procurement team. This permanent role is based at our UK head office, with some remote work days.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage suppliers, nurture relationships, negotiate, handle contracts, and collaborate with the team on category strategies.
  • Proactively identify cost-saving and process enhancement opportunities.
  • Represent procurement in internal projects, managing costs and timelines in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Utilize SAP for cost management and analysis of price discrepancies.
  • Stay informed on market trends, industry updates, and regulatory shifts for strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in similar roles, ideally in pharma or personal care/FMCG.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving yearly cost savings through effective procurement tactics.
  • Strong grasp of end-to-end supply chain processes, encompassing manufacturing and packaging technologies.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with CIPS certification.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, especially Excel for in-depth analysis.
  • Confident, excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Analytical mindset, skilled in data interpretation, trend identification, and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a proactive and results-driven mindset.

This role involves frequent travel within the UK and Europe.

This position may also open as a Buyer role, with the potential to progress to Senior Buyer after training.
