As a Radiology Administrator at our Taunton Hospital, you'll bring a keen eye for detail, strong secretarial skills and great communication abilities as you support the Radiology Manager and the team. You're proficient with Microsoft Office, comfortable working with numbers and you're committed to providing our teams with the best level of support.
As a Radiology Administrator you will:
Deliver high-quality administration support to the radiology department.
Enjoy the satisfaction of providing truly exceptional customer service.
Prioritise a busy workload, whilst also keeping calm under pressure and remaining professional at all times.
Book patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Complete initial patient safety questionnaires.
Work closely with the Radiology team to ensure maximum utilisation.
Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.
Coordinate, plan and organise a range of activities.
Complete electronic and/or manual data entry / record keeping in an accurate and timely manner, to agreed format and standards.
File, store, retrieve and collate information / items accurately and efficiently.
Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.

Nuffield Health Taunton Hospital is one of the leading providers of private healthcare in the South West. We've built a reputation for clinical excellence and outstanding patient care over the last 40 years. We are constantly investing in our modern hospital. With three new state of the art Ultra Clean Air operating theatres and an endoscopy suite we are proud of the wide range of surgical services and treatments available. The hospital has 41 private en-suite bedrooms split over 2 wards and 11 consulting rooms within our Outpatients Department.
Our areas of specialty include orthopedics and spinal surgery, ophthalmology, dermatology, bariatric treatments and diagnostic imaging. Our most recent CQC inspection was undertaken in July 2016 and we were enormously proud to be rated overall as Good, with Outstanding for Well Led.
