As a Plating Technical Manager, you will spearhead the technical leadership on plating for our manufacturing processes and commercial teams. You will communicate seamlessly with senior management, making technical aspects easy to understand. Your role will involve developing and nurturing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence. You will lead, coach, and mentor the technical engineering team, driving zero defects and product yield improvements. Additionally, you will manage technical processes, maintain ISO standards, and support in resolving customer complaints related to quality.

Hours of Work: Full-time, permanent

Plating Technical Manager Requirements:

  • Degree in science-based subject or evidence-based relevant experience.
  • The ability to lead, empower, motivate and engage team members.
  • Previous laboratory experience.
  • Conversant in the use of spreadsheet and other software (ERP experience beneficial)
  • Good communication skills, and the ability to relay technical information to non-technical people.
  • Excellent root cause analysis skills
  • Proactive and inquisitive
  • Six Sigma / Lean experience.
