The University for the Creative Arts International College (UCAIC) is looking to appoint five highly motivated lecturers (two for Art & Design Portfolio Development and Graphic Design & Illustration, one for Creative Business and Management, one for Architecture & Interior Design and one for Multimedia Film Production) to teach the International Summer School at our Farnham campus. The role will start from; for Programme 1: 8th July , for Programme 2: 29th July . There will be five hours of teaching involved per day , 4 days per week.
Central to the role is providing innovative and dynamic teaching and curriculum development for the Integrated International Programmes. You will deliver key Art & Design or Creative Business based projects; provide pastoral support to students; undertake assessment, monitoring and student enhancement.
You will have a master’s degree in an appropriate subject preferably with PgCert teaching qualification and/or industry expertise. It is expected that you will have experience of teaching at university level. We are looking for an innovative and inclusive approach to the teaching of your chosen subject as outlined above and you should be able to demonstrate an awareness of contemporary critical issues in the field globally. You must evidence a commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and widening participation in teaching, research, and university life.
