Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Programming and Development

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to join our team at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA). As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Programming and Development, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to the development of our games programs.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant community of students, academic teaching staff, researchers, and industry specialists. You will be responsible for delivering games programming to students, primarily on the BSc Games Development degree and MA Games Engineering, but you may contribute to a variety of games courses.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
- Contribute to the development of our games programs, including curriculum design and delivery
- Participate in marketing and student recruitment activities
- Engage in professional research in the subject area
We are looking for a candidate with a good honours degree, ideally a postgraduate degree, and great professional experience in games development and programming. You should have a proven knowledge and experience of software for computer games development, with a particular focus on Unreal (C++, Blueprints) and Unity (C#) games engines. Experience of 3D modelling and an understanding of contemporary game development pipeline workflows are desirable.
