Job Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Games Programming and Development.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students on our BSc Games Development and MA Games Engineering courses.
  • Contribute to the development of new curriculum and course materials, aligned to contemporary industry practice.
  • Engage in research and knowledge exchange activities, including collaborations with industry partners.
  • Participate in marketing and student recruitment activities to promote our games programs.
  • Contribute to the development of new learning and teaching methods, and participate in professional research in the subject area.

About You:

  • You will have a good honours degree, ideally a postgraduate degree, and detailed knowledge of contemporary developments in the subject area and wider creative industries.
  • You will have significant industry experience in games development, with a particular focus on Unreal and Unity game engines.
  • You will have excellent communication and team working skills, and be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning.
