Job description

Job responsibilities

Trained towards being able to provide daily assistance to the Senior Developers, developing/maintaining the extraction, transformation data pipelines and developing/maintaining data visualisations for service managers, corporate managers, Commissioners, St HA and DoH etc Trained to utilise departmental operational procedures to monitor data pipelines and dashboard refresh schedules, updating procedures as processes are refined Trained to utilise and further develop existing data pipelines and data visualisations to support the development of standard information for users of the service Provided with the skills and knowledge to be able to ensure environment is safe, well equipped and complaint with Health and Safety standards Gain the experience to be able to actively try to resolve issues and complaints at local level and then report the outcome to the line manager Gain experience and knowledge to be able to act as a role model, presenting a positive image of self, team and the organisation Person Specification

Qualifications and Education

Essential

Good general level of education including a minimum of 3 GCSE's grade 4 or above or equivalent including English & Mathematics IT level 3 qualification or equivalent experience

Desirable

Computer Science GCSE/A Level

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

Some knowledge and understanding of data collection, data integration and use of Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access or similar RDBMS software Some knowledge of data visualisation and use of Qlikview, Power BI or similar visualisation software Confident email and internet user, experience of gathering information from internet sources

Desirable

Work experience in industry or public sector organisation
