We are seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Team Lead to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Shared Services Forward Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of experts in business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team: Manage a team of data analysts and business intelligence specialists to design, develop, and implement data products and services.
- Data governance: Ensure data is managed in compliance with legislative, security, export control, and contractual requirements.
- Stakeholder relationships: Build and manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve agreed service levels and quality standards.
- Agile team management: Experience of leading an agile scrum team and managing delivery.
- Technical skills: Good knowledge of product lifecycle processes, application of change management, and releases of products. Sound knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and visualization techniques.
- Communication: Communicate fluently, orally and in writing, and present complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience with Tableau and Alteryx products.
- Leadership: Experience of leading a team, including tasking, performance management, development, and managing delivery.
