Here at Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul UK facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.

Position Summary:

To lead and direct all maintenance and facilities activities to ensure the sites infrastructure, equipment and services effectively meet business needs. The role involves strategic planning, change management, budget management, and compliance control.

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive organisational success through strategic thinking and effective leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Collins employees to effectively meet business targets.

Manage premises and facilities Infrastructure Services (e.g. catering, cleaning, security, waste), Equipment Services, Environmental Services & Departmental requirements to ensure the continuity operations within a safe working environment. 

Maintain activity logs and measure operational metrics.

Manage planned and reactive maintenance for plant and critical infrastructure across site.

Manage external regulatory compliance tasks and oversee various legal regulations; LOLER, PUWER, HVAC FGas, LEV, electrical installation condition reports, lifting inspections, Fire safety systems, vertical storage machines, emergency light testing, building management system, storm and foul drains, water management, cooling tower treatment, CCTV, door access control, automatic smoke vents, waste management etc.

Manage department budget planning, supporting monthly reviews, and collaborate closely with the finance team.

Manage CAPEX project.

Support the management of the Emergency Response Team including training.

Contributing to the development and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures to enable effective audit systems and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Essential Criteria

Substantial experience in a comparable infrastructure or maintenance management role.

Hold a relevant HNC or HND qualification in a related field or have equivalent experience.

Have complex project and budget management experience.

Experience of leading and motivating a team with high levels of energy.

Driving through the delivery against set targets/SMART objectives

Desirable Criteria

Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Hold an IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.

Experience of asset risk management.

Experience in developing and implementing robust business continuity plans.

Experience of delivering sustainability initiatives.
