We are looking for a Family Liaison Officer to join our dedicated team at an Alternative Provision in the Burnley area. If you have a talent for building strong relationships and fostering communication between home and school, this could be the perfect role for you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary link between school and home, supporting families and students to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Provide guidance and support to parents/carers on a range of issues, including attendance, well-being, and access to external services.
  • Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and ensure all students have the support they need both in and out of school.
  • Organise and attend meetings with families, external agencies, and school staff to ensure effective communication and outcomes.
  • Help to promote a positive school ethos and contribute to the well-being and safeguarding of all students.

  • A commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable students and their families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
