Employment Engagement Liaison

Together Housing, a non-profit organization, is seeking an Employer Engagement Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses and employers, creating employment opportunities for clients.
- Establish connections with local employers to understand their hiring needs and promote the client base and services.
- Pursue new employment and training opportunities through local, regional, and national initiatives.
- Collaborate with Employment Advisors to match job seekers with suitable employment options.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, strong networking and relationship-building skills, knowledge of the local job market, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with local employers to promote employment opportunities.
- Explore and pursue new employment and training initiatives.
- Work closely with Employment Advisors to match job seekers with suitable employment options.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the local job market and employment trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Benefits:
- Starting salary of £26,862 per annum.
- Annual salary increment increases.
- 27 days annual leave (rising to 32 over 5 years' service) + bank holidays.
