Our beautiful wedding venue was the first country house in the country to be licensed to hold civil ceremonies in 1995 and has been offering dream weddings ever since. Part of the Country House Weddings portfolio of hand-picked wedding venues, with more than 30 years of experience offering perfect weddings to couples, our exclusive-use, catering and venue hire packages take care of your wedding day from start to finish, overseen by our expert team.

From specialist wedding Chefs, experienced Personal Wedding Managers and a fantastic wait team, to knowledgeable grounds teams and passionate housekeepers, our teams pride themselves on providing a top-quality service that helps make our weddings a success.
 


What we expect from you “The Role” – Housekeeping Porter 

Main duties

•                 
• To transport
chairs, tables and other furniture around the venue in readiness for events

•                 
• To ensure all
areas of the venue are set up in accordance with the Running Order for
ceremony, wedding meal and evening reception in good time on wedding days

•                 
• To ensure all
areas of the venue are set up as per the Sales Managers instructions for
showrounds on non-wedding days

•                 
• To inform the
relevant Front of House Manager or Venue Manager immediately when you spot any
damage on an event day so client can be informed without delay

•                 
• To carry out
all duties as and when required and requested by the Housekeeping Manager and
Venue Manager

•                 
• To be aware of
health and safety procedures and to operate at all times in accordance with
your employer’s health and safety policies

•                 
• To carry out
any duties required within the venue by the Housekeeping Manager or Venue
Manager

•                 
• To respond to
any guest requests politely and efficiently

 

You must be:

•                 
• Able to work on
your own initiative and diligently at all times

•                 
• Be flexible and
available to work weekends as well as weekdays

•                 
• Be a great team
player

•                 
• Have physical
fitness and resilience

•                 
• Have the
ability and willingness to learn quickly
