Position Overview: We are seeking a Facilities Support Technician who will work on a rotating weekend schedule alongside our porters. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct daily inspections to ensure the smooth operation of the premises and its equipment. Reliability, professionalism, and teamwork are essential qualities for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of public areas.
  • Support housekeeping, bar, and banqueting teams in room setups and furniture arrangements.
  • Ensure guest safety by managing signage for wet floors or maintenance work.
  • Utilize physical strength and endurance for moving and transporting large items.
  • Exhibit strong listening skills to effectively understand and anticipate guest needs and wedding requirements.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills to interact with colleagues and guests.
  • Apply basic maintenance skills for various tasks, including general DIY projects.
  • Perform maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, painting, and decorating.
  • Conduct daily checks on gas and kerosene levels, drainage systems, waste disposal, and bio units.
  • Manage hot tub cleaning and maintenance tasks.
