Leез Priory LTD is seeking a highly skilled and reliable Porter and Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a dual role, you will be responsible for maintaining the good running of the building and equipment, as well as providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in keeping public areas tidy and well-maintained
  • Perform general Porter duties
  • Help housekeeping, bar, and banqueting staff to set up rooms or move furniture
  • Ensure the safety of guests by placing and removing signage that indicates wet floors or paint
  • Perform physical tasks such as carrying and moving large items
  • Utilize good listening skills to gauge and anticipate the needs of guests and wedding requirements
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers, colleagues, and guests
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed, including general DIY skills
  • Conduct daily checks such as gas and kerosene levels, drains, bio unit, bins
  • Clean and maintain hot tubs
Requirements:
  • Reliable and professional
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical strength and endurance
  • Basic maintenance skills
Working Hours:

This role will require working some weekends on a rotated basis.
