Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Weekly Salary: £420 to £450
Contract: Temporary Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am to 3:30pm)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in Dudley. The school caters to children aged 5 to 18 with a range of complex cognitive and physical needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with complex cognitive and physical needs.
  • Assist with personal care, ensuring the dignity and well-being of students.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver tailored educational plans that support individual learning.
  • Help students develop both academic and life skills in a nurturing environment.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support overall development.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN (preferred).
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Willingness to assist with personal care tasks.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to improving outcomes for children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
