Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive school in Dudley, West Midlands.

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and group support to children with complex cognitive and physical needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers to deliver tailored educational plans that support individual learning and help students develop both academic and life skills in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to children with complex needs, including personal care and ensuring their dignity and well-being.
  • Work with teachers to develop and implement individualized educational plans.
  • Assist students in developing academic and life skills, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support overall development.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
  • DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
  • Ability to assist with personal care tasks.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to improving outcomes for children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
