An opportunity has arisen for a Credit Controller to join the team atour Hesslewood offices.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Downloading cash from the bank and posting in SAP (multiple currencies) Effective cash collections (emails/calls/customer relationships) to minimise overdue balances Liaising with internal teams to find solutions for late payments and order/deliveries blocks Credit checking new Customers and performing ongoing reviews for existing Customers Proposing (obtaining approval) and maintaining accurate credit limits and payment terms Following Credit Policy, working instructions and other Company Policies Assisting with month end reporting and other ad hoc requests

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility of 2 remote working days per week. We would be looking for a suitable candidate to join the team around December 2024

Essentials:

Proven knowledge and experience of working in a credit control department Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of building effective working / customer relationships Attention to detail to ensure work is produced to a high standard and communications / notes are accurate and up to date at all times Good planning and organisation skills are required, as is self-motivation to ensure tasks are completed to deadlines set A flexible ‘can do’ attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to change as business processes/systems evolve Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths at grades C orabove


Desirables:

Experience of using SAP Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel) Credit Checking experience Knowledge of Financial Accounts Experience with Global customers Experience of multiple currencies Knowledge of payment term methods (Secured terms) Credit Management or other Finance qualification ( AAT)
