Role Overview

Croda is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Finance team at our Hesslewood offices. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of our accounts, enabling the successful operation and growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cash collections, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue balances.
  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve late payments and order/delivery blocks.
  • Conduct credit checks on new customers and perform ongoing reviews for existing customers.
  • Propose and maintain accurate credit limits and payment terms.
  • Adhere to Credit Policy, working instructions, and other Company Policies.
  • Assist with month-end reporting and other ad-hoc requests.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a credit control department.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Flexible and willing to learn and adapt to change.
  • GCSE level or equivalent in English and Maths at grades C or above.
