Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and personable individual to join our Dumfries-based Commercial Team at Vigilant Security. The ideal candidate will have confidence to communicate with clients and potential customers and an understanding of excel is preferred but not required as training will be given
The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis upon completion of your 6-month probationary period. Hours of work are Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00), with a degree of flexibility where deadlines are required to be met.
This position boasts a competitive salary with a holiday entitlement of 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support and assistance to the Commercial Manager and Deputy Commercial Manager
Preparation and production of quotations (training will be given).
Work closely with all team members in the production of commercial tender process
Monitor and update associated systems and folders
Ensure commercial documents and data are complete within specified timeframes
Maintain and update the client database, identifying opportunities and highlighting to the commercial manager
Basic understanding of Microsoft office applications

Strong communication skills with the ability to build honest relationships
A desire to add value to the business and commercial team
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining a positive working atmosphere
An enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop within the role and contribute towards the greater success of the team and business
