Red Nucleus is hiring a Senior/Principal Medical Writer (oncology) to join our global team This role is based out of our London, UK office.

How You Will Contribute

In this position, you will be working with our Learning & Development team.

We work on a diverse range of projects, spanning pre- and post-launch drug and medical device brand lifecycles. Our materials reach multiple audiences, including sales representatives and medical science liaisons, and focus on scientific and product knowledge, as well as the skills needed to communicate this with healthcare providers. Deliverables can range from full launch curricula to individual assets, such as:

Interactive e-learning programsPrint modules and infographicsWorkshop design and developmentPatient journey videosPodcasts

As a Senior/Principal Medical Writer at Red Nucleus, you will:

Understand client strategy and messaging, communicating this to the team and ensuring this is integrated into contentConsult with clients and subject matter experts to understand content and subject complexities, shaping design and development of contentResearch, learn, and distill complex scientific information and communicate it clearly to the target audience(s)Design and write educational materials for life sciences industry professionals, including sales representatives, medical science liaisons, and healthcare provider audiencesReview/revise materials ensuring that they are accurate, engaging, and adhere to client’s medical, legal, and regulatory standardsAttend status calls and review meetings with client teamsCollaborate with project/account managers, instructional designers, graphic artists, programmers, editors, and quality assurance specialists to ensure clients’ needs are met and the end product is accurate and of high qualityContribute to the development and execution of departmental goals and standards, and help drive internal initiativesProvide constructive feedback and mentorship to medical writers within the team

About You

Minimum of 2-3+ years in a senior writing role; oncology experience essential Experience developing content for promotional, disease awareness, or medical education programs in the life sciencesExceptional verbal, written, and organisational skillsSkilled in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe AcrobatAbility to distill complex scientific information and terminology for all audiences into clear and engaging content, using words and complementary imagesAbility to handle multiple and changing projects, tasks, priorities, and deadlinesAbility to thrive in a team environmentHigh level of motivation, ability to deal with pressureHealthcare (pharmaceutical, medical device, and/or biotechnology) sales training experience preferredAbility to conduct necessary research and to reference materials according to AMA or equivalent UK formatsAbility to work in our Central London office
