⢠Therapy area focus: Cardiovascular and Diabetes

⢠Independently-owned medical communications organisation.


As a Principal Medical Writer, you will still have hands-on content creation responsibilities and will work across deliverables ranging from advisory boards through to slide decks, manuscripts, websites and other medical education materials.


In addition, you will have a varied role which will also include responsibility for:


⢠Line management â direct leadership and management for a team of Writers; reviewing all materials produced by the team.

⢠Project leadership â managing and leading all client projects, ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest quality and that briefs and timelines are adhered to.

⢠Business development â identifying new business opportunities with both new and existing clients; presenting new business ideas to clients.

⢠KOL liaison â collaborating with KOLs and HCPs as required on material production; signing off all materials for production.


Requirements for the role:


⢠At least 5 years of medical writing experience gained from working in a medical communications agency.

⢠Line management, mentoring and coaching experience â of a writing team.

⢠Experience of new business development â ideally with experience of pitching to clients too.

⢠Knowledge and/or experience of Cardiovascular and Diabetes â this is desirable.
