Support Worker required - Private Address. DY6.



Job Purpose and work duties


Support Worker for 6 hours over 2 days is required to assist with various activities, enabling the employer to maintain an independent and fulfilling life that meets their chosen lifestyle.

Work Duties:

Domestic tasks e.g. laundry, housework and meal preparation.
Shopping
Outdoor walking/exercise
Taking me to appointments
Assisting with leisure activities

Supporting with
• Mobility, ensuring the employers safety
• Personal care
• Undertaking activities for employer
• Ensuring employers home is clean, hygienic, and safe
Other requirements
• Working in a safe way and highlighting health and safety concerns
• Assisting with management of employer’s health risks
• Establish and maintain effective communication
• Maintaining confidentiality
Location
• Within the employer’s home


Hours and rate of pay
Weekend hours working over Saturday and Sunday in the daytime, and evenings, hours to be discussed with employer
£11.44 per hour

• An enhanced DBS check will be required
