Support Worker - Learning Disability

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful Support Worker to join our team in Kingswinford, Dudley. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities in various aspects of their lives, from daily living skills to social activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with learning disabilities in their daily lives, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions, outings, and activities that promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting individuals.
  • Be flexible and responsive to the needs of service users, including working varied shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Hold a valid UK driver's license.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
