ATL has an exciting opportunity for a People & Training Manager to join its team. Operating within a newly forming People Team, this role will be integral in continuing to shape the employee experience, in the specific fields of employee relations and training. In conjunction with the Head of People & Development, you will have a key role in evaluating and evolving current methods and approaches; and providing an exemplary level of HR and training support to this innovative and expanding business. Main Duties: Manage complex employee relations cases. Monitor changes in employment legislation; and, in conjunction with the Head of People & Development, draft new or revised policy information, and upskill relevant employees.  Devise and coordinate wellbeing initiatives; ensuring that relevance and budgets are considered. Create learning and developmental tools and initiatives, to aid personal and business performance. Coordinate and deliver elements of the Company's induction process, regularly reviewing and evolving the content to ensure it remains fit for purpose. Liaise with line managers to understand any competency 'gaps' within their existing departments; and propose solutions to upskill the relevant parties and/or to strengthen the team structure. Create and manage routes to succession planning. Liaise effectively with line managers to proactively capacity plan and resource their departments. Responsible for ensuring that the business remains GDPR compliant; and that employees are competent in understanding how to avoid potential breaches. Conduct periodic remuneration benchmarking exercises; and provide comprehensive evaluations to support any suggested changes.  Propose and coordinate events/initiatives to recognise key dates within the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion calendar. Develop and lead initiatives to aid the company in delivering upon its corporate social responsibility. In conjunction with the Head of People & Development, coordinate an annual employee engagement survey, including: being integral in preparing the associated data, communications, promotion, completion, evaluation and action planning. Oversee the apprentice and intern programmes, ensuring that their progression is satisfactory and that their wellbeing is monitored.
