Your placement will be within our Sulzer Services UK & Nordics business — an industry leading aftermarket service provider of technology-based solutions, fast execution and expertise in complex maintenance projects servicing our own original equipment and third party equipment. Across a network of service centres, we service a diverse customer base partnering with them to maximise sustainability and life cycle cost effectiveness

This placement offers exciting rotations across 12 months in the following areas:

LEAN / Continuous Improvement Procurement Quality Planning & Scheduling

What you’ll be doing:

Collaborate on identifying, prioritising, and implementing initiatives that boost productivity, enhance quality, and drive cost efficiencies. Contribute to cross-functional transformation programs, measuring their impact and effectiveness. Lead innovation by improving systems, processes, and technology. Advocate for operational excellence benefits across the organisation, fostering a strong culture of continuous improvement. Develop new ideas and concepts while minimizing risk and disruption to core business functions. Ensure robust business cases and return on investment (ROI) for our capital investment program. Identify opportunities for leveraging economies of scale within supply chain management. Collaborate on Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) initiatives to boost efficiency and output.

Experience and knowledge required:

Studying towards a relevant degree in supply chain / operations / business management or a related field.  Entrepreneurial and curious  Continuous improvement focused Inclusive and highly collaborative Results driven

Please note, there will be some travel required with this role and therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential. Evidence of the right to work in the UK will also be required.
