Research Physician - Contract

Hendre Moolman is recruiting for a Research Physician to join a long established and well regarded Clinical Pharmacology Unit in South Wales.

Responsibilities:

As Research Physician you provide medical guidance and leadership for the development and execution of clinical trials.

Key duties will include:

Medical screening of all healthy volunteers and providing ongoing medical support by reviewing ECGs, vital signs, blood results and adverse events Ensuring that all activities comply with Medical, Scientific and Ethical Standards and trials are run in accordance with protocols, SOPs and ICH-GCP requirements Fully explaining each study and obtaining written informed consent from potential trial participants Actingas Sub-Investigator/Study Physician for designated studies ensuring adequate continuity of care of trial participants throughout studies Ensure communication with volunteers' General Practitioners regarding their participation in a study, collaborative care and follow-up Providing medical cover outside of normal working hours as part of an On-Call Rota

Qualifications:

As Research Physician you will require:

A Medical Degree and GMC registration with a License to Practice Extensive post-registration / post-foundation experience Ideally with industry based clinical research experience A post-graduate Clinical Pharmacology qualification would be advantageous Excellent communication skills
