We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Neurologist with a particular interest and expertise in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to join a dynamic neurology team at a leading NHS trust.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurology services with a focus on diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with MS.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialist neurological consultation, diagnosis, and management of patients with MS and related conditions. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and teaching activities to contribute to the advancement of neurological care and education. Contribute to the development and implementation of protocols and guidelines for the management of MS patients. Participate in on-call services as per the departmental rota.

Requirements :

Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Completion of specialist training in neurology and membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). Specialist registration with the GMC in Neurology. Demonstrated experience and expertise in the diagnosis and management of Multiple Sclerosis and related disorders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ongoing professional development and research activities.
