Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our clients team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across various departments within the hospital. The RGN will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the hospital, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs are met.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms, to develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to treatments and interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to promote optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and facilitate interdisciplinary communication.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Adhere to infection control protocols, medication administration guidelines, and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in the state of Shropshire.
Minimum of 6 months of experience working as a Registered General Nurse in a hospital or acute care setting.
BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care delivery.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and empathy towards colleagues and patients.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
