Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is the largest Health Board in Wales. The Health Board provides a full range of elective and non-elective secondary care services, although it is highly emergency driven with a very busy ED Department. As part of the anaesthetic team you will make an important contribution to the provision of patient treatment and care within the Health Board.
We are currently seeking two Specialty Doctor who will support the work of the Consultant Anaesthetists within Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
This is a full time post with out of hours commitments. Specialty Doctor duties link with trainee and clinical fellow duties to provide a broad service.
On-call commitment in anaesthesia/critical care/obstetrics depending on the candidate's competencies.

At least 4 years post-graduate experience with a minimum 2 years in the specialty
Evidence of interest in Quality Improvement.
Anaesthetic experience in a broad range of specialities
Completion of Foundation Program
ITU and obstetric anaesthesia experience
Experience in paediatric anaesthesia
Appropriate levels of skills and abilities to provide anaesthesia for general emergencies for adults
Good working knowledge and experience of up-to-date anaesthetics
