The Legal Cashier willbe responsible for managing a range of financial activities in linewith the Solicitors Accounts Rules. The successful candidate willensure accurate financial processing and contribute to the smoothrunning of the firm s financialoperations.

KeyResponsibilities:

Process bank reconciliations
Update and maintain cash flowforecasts
Input and reconcilesales and purchase ledgers
Postcompany credit card transactions
Manage online bank payments
InputHMLR/HMCTS invoices
Prepareweekly payment runs
Process LegalAid payments
Input and reconcilepetty cash
Prepare and submit VATreturns
Reconcile supplierstatements
Manage residual clientbalances
Address general ledgerqueries
RequirementsTheideal candidate will:
Be anexperienced Legal Cashier
Havethorough knowledge of the Solicitors AccountsRules
Possess excellent IT skillsincluding proficiency in Outlook Word and preferably Excel andCMS
Experience with Leap and Xerois desirable but not essential
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonalskills
Be able to work well underpressure
Show a willingness toadapt and be flexible
Thrive in ateam environment
Hold at least 5GCSEs at grades AC including English andMaths

A qualification in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of experience inaccounting or finance Strong knowledge of accounting principles andregulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software Ability towork independently and manage multiple tasks Attention to detailand accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Abilityto work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
