We are seeking a Technical Records Administrator, to join our team based at our Dunlin Road office. The position holder will perform a wide range of general administration tasks in Technical Records.

Responsibilities include:

General Administration

Daily collection of paperwork from engineering departmentsDocumenting receipt of paperwork from line officeDistribution of electronic scans from remote basesSorting of original documentation from remote bases

Auditing

Physical validation of aircraft documentationValidation restricted to technical logs and worksheets.

Scanning

preparation of documentation for scanningscanning of Monthly aircraft historical documentsIndexing and storing of Monthly aircraft historical documentsScanning of log cards to be sent out of departmentAttachment of log card scans to SAPScanning of Aircraft logbooks into SAP for engineering accessScanning of monthly line diariesScanning of monthly workshop reports

Archiving

binding of Monthly aircraft historical documentsArchiving of Monthly aircraft historical documentsArranging Movement of aircraft documentation to Iron Mountain.Recall of documentation from Iron MountainArchiving of monthly line diariesArchiving of monthly workshop reports

Other duties

The technical Records Administrator may from time to time be requested to assist in general administrative tasks within the wider department, as requested and agreed with the Technical Publications Manager or Fleet Support Manager.

PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)

Qualifications

 Good standard of education including Maths and English

Experience

Minimum requirement -

Desirable Requirements -

Previous Technical Records experience would be an advantageUnderstanding of aviation regulatory requirementsSound understanding of maintenance programmesSkilled in usage of planning software

Skills

PC LiterateWord/ExcelExcellent motivational skills.Understands the need for integrity.Good interpersonal skills with ability to work as part of a small team.Approachable to both internal and external staff members.Ability to manage priorities and focus on the key issuesAbility to promote tolerance and inclusion among diverse groups and recognition of multiple views.

The position offers the opportunity to progress to a Senior Technical Records Administrator, subject to:

The Completion of “On the job training” and the demonstration of a fully completed onboarding process to support the issuance of a company Authorisation. A minimum of 12 months must be spent acting as a non-authorised technical Records Administrator prior to obtaining a company authorisation.A minimum of 12 months experience as an authorised Technical Records Administrator, must be achieved prior to gaining Snr Technical Records Administrator Status.
