Excellence in Care (EiC) is the National Care Assurance Programme. In line with the Excellence in Care strategy we are broadening our scope of EiC beyond Nursing and Midwifery, to include other Healthcare Professionals.

This provides an exciting opportunity to recruit a Mental Health Registered Professional Clinical Lead, either a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional, to support the National delivery of the EiC Programme

The successful candidate will provide clinical and professional leadership, advice and guidance to the EiC National Programme to inform the implementation of EiC across NHS Scotland Mental Health Services, including the development of indicators of quality and safety. The post holder will play a key role in the Quality Management System for Mental Health, fostering a collaborative approach within Healthcare Improvement Scotland to drive both local and national enhancement and assurance efforts
