Clinical Lead for Excellence in Care

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading our focus on Excellence in Care and Practice Development. You will work closely with the local delivery of programs, the NHS Board, and national reporting to ensure the successful implementation of Excellence in Care.
The ideal candidate will be an expert in their field, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. You will provide guidance and support to others at every clinical level, using your own judgment to advise and guide in clinical, management, and leadership areas.
You will work collaboratively with the Scottish Government, National Services Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland, and the Chief Nurse for Professional Development to support the implementation of Excellence in Care.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Registered professional qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Educated to masters degree level or equivalent
- Educated in quality improvement at post graduate level
- Demonstrable evidence of CPD
- Significant post-registration experience
- Evidence of demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to facilitate these in others
- Experience of influencing at a strategic level
- Ability to develop benchmarking, evaluation, and clinical audit programs for health services
