NHS Scotland is committed to excellence in care and is seeking a Clinical Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading focus on Excellence in Care and Practice Development in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading focus on Excellence in Care and Practice Development
  • Providing a key link between the local delivery of the programmes, the NHS Board, and national reporting
  • Working with the Scottish Government, National Services Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS Education for Scotland and Chief Nurse for Professional Development

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered professional qualification with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Master's degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of influencing at a strategic level
  • Ability to develop benchmarking, evaluation and clinical audit programmes for health services
