We are growing our Estates Team in Carlisle, Cumbria and are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join us

As our successful candidate you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team based within the Estates Department of NTW Solutions, based at the Carleton Clinic in Carlisle.

We are holding some Open Drop-in Sessions to give you the chance to meet the team, have a look at the site and hear more about what it's like working for NTW Solutions and our Services.

Please do come along, ask us any questions, and we are happy to help with applications or collect CVs on the day.

Open Sessions will be held at the Carleton Clinic, in the Caf Lounge Area:

Wednesday 20th November - 4pm till 6pm Thursday 21st November - 12noon till 2pm

Main duties of the job

You will respond to a range of duties and be expected to produce work to a consistently high standard of work across the whole range of Estates Disciplines as required.

We will offer you the opportunity to undertake additional training in order to fulfil the requirements of the post, satisfy new regulations/legislation or to further to develop the duties.

Pay: £24,761 Per Annum/£ Per Hour

There is potential to earn more, with enhancements offered for weekend work and on-call duties. Please get in touch to find out more.

If you currently work for NTW Solutions on AfC terms and conditions, you will be given the choice to retain these or move onto NTW Solutions terms and conditions. Please note that the above advertised salary will not apply if you choose to remain on AfC.

Anyone currently paying into the NHS Pension scheme will be able to retain this.

Previous experience working experience in building, mechanical and electrical engineering Experience in the operation, service and repair of some of relevant types of plant and equipment

Skills and Knowledge

Essential

Must demonstrate good understanding of health & safety. Meet the mobility requirements of the role

Education and Qualifications

Desirable

NVQ 1, gained in an appropriate engineering, building or construction environment. GCSE or equivalent to include Maths and English is desirable.
