Together with the ability to manage, lead and motivate groups of staff effectively.The post holder will require a thorough and detailed knowledge of principles and concepts underpinning the broad range of applications and techniques used in radiotherapy.This role requires HCPC Registration.Rota: Four days between Monday and Friday 07.45-17.37 with a rolling day off each weekBase Location: Poole Hospital Interview Date:TBC Main duties of the job To take responsibility of the daily management of the pre-treatment radiotherapy section and to assist in the operational management of a specialist highly complex pre-treatment radiotherapy work base and supervising the radiotherapy team.The post-holder will support the continuity of patient flow throughout all aspects of the pre-treatment pathway from mould room to multimodality imaging and virtual simulation.They will be working within a computerised and technologically advanced environment covering a wide range of specialist pre-treatment techniques such as contrast administration and motion management imaging, whilst facilitating the development and integration of skills and competencies available within the team.Liaison and collaboration with medical, physics, radiology and nuclear medicine, nursing, clerical and support staff within the Trust, as well as educational partners.To support the Head of Service in developing and advancing the service offered by the department through resource management and protocol and technique development.
