We are looking for a Referral Co-Ordinator for the Psychological Therapies Pathway Single Point of Access (PTPSPA) team within our nationally recognised, high-performing, and innovative NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression service.

Main duties of the job
You will join a well-established and successful Single Point of Access Team who screen referrals coming in to all 3 steps of the Buckinghamshire Psychological Therapies Referral Pathway for Adults and Older Adults.
You will assist with the coordination and successful day-to-day management of incoming referrals, ensuring the provision of a responsive, high-quality service to patients with common mental health problems.
Part of the role will also involve offering clinical supervision/advice to clinicians who are carrying out Brief Screening Assessments as well as completing assessments yourself.
You will also support clinicians to step clients up and out of the service and will liaise, on behalf of clinicians if necessary, with GPs, referrers, and other statutory and non-statutory services in the Trust to ensure clients are signposted to the best service.
We are committed to providing ongoing, high quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and in addition to in-house training you will have an annual CPD budget for relevant external courses.

The Buckinghamshire Talking Therapies team follows a hybrid working pattern of working at home and in office across the week.
We have two main bases, in Aylesbury and High Wycombe, with additional clinic space around the county. Ability and willingness to travel for business purposes is essential.

A post graduate diploma with experience in delivering evidenced-based psychological treatment (PWP Training) or a core mental health qualification in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy.
