About the Role…

EG On The Move are expanding and have an exciting role available for a Site Technology Support Specialist to join the business. In this role you will be responsible for the hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of technology systems across our fuel, retail, and quick serve food locations.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure optimal functioning of technology that supports business operations. You will work closely with end-users, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions to enhance user experience and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform installations and routine maintenance on various technological systems at multiple site locations. Troubleshoot and repair technology systems, including point-of-sale systems, payment terminals, and other related hardware. Conduct on-site assessments to ensure technology aligns with the company's standards and operational needs. Provide training and support to site staff on new technology systems and updates. Collaborate with the Site Technology Quality & Installation Manager to report on field activities and site technology performance. Manage relationships with local vendors and technicians to ensure quick resolution of technology-related issues. Document all field activities and maintain a log of maintenance and repair work for company records. Ensure compliance with all safety and industry regulations during site visits.

Candidate Requirements

Strong technical skills with a deep understanding of retail systems and electronic payment technologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities Customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently and manage multiple site responsibilities concurrently. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with site staff and management. Strong Networking installation knowledge
