This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more

JOB PURPOSE

As a (Senior) Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of almost 60 people around the world. You’ll write and shape CRM and Paid social content for key accounts in the UK. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing copy that showcases our clients’ voice and furthers their brand story.

This role requires a genuine passion for editing and giving critical feedback. You will be expected to uphold our clients' creative standards, while continuing to push new ideas and embody DEPT®’s entrepreneurial spirit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create clear, effective and original copy and content for our clients’ CRM and Paid social marketingWrite content for various channelsProvide clear, effective feedbackGive directional brand and tone of voice guidance Establish, strengthen, and uphold copy standardsEstablish processes and policies to maximise efficiency Deliver creative ideas confidently both internally and externallyOffer strategic messaging insights on creative campaignsResearch competitors and trends for creative inspirationFacilitate creative brainstorms and other necessary meetings Exhibit leadership and professionalism across all interactions 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Experience as a copywriter is a must, and a background in agency or brand is preferredExperience editing content and giving feedback is necessaryExperience in the e-commerce/transportation technology a plusExperience delivering and receiving feedback in English is necessary Translation and/or transcreation experience a plus In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development a big plusUnderstanding of social media content best practices and trends preferred Ability to deliver compelling marketing and content copy that sells is essentialConfidence working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clients is essential Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assetsAn understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journeyAbility to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiasticallyA collaborative approach to getting things done
